Welcome

IMG_3863 copyThank you for stopping by. The cry of my heart is to honor King Jesus. I pray that the words that flow from my heart, through the key board, and to your eyes lift your spirit to worship Him.

This life adventure is full of new twists, and I’m excited to share some of them with you. Please stop by thefreeslavesdevotion.com to visit with me and my wonderful writing partner, Susan Roach, as we explore who we are in Christ.

Don’t skip the Grace Revealing page. Stories that shout the praises of our King should not be overlooked, and I’d love for you to share yours.

If you’re interested in the fiction projects I am currently working on, please check out the WIP (that’s Work In Progress) page.

I’m certainly no miracle worker, but prayer is a gift from our Heavenly Father. If I can pray for you in any way, I’d love for you to contact me. Just fill out the form and I’ll be in touch.

Thanks again for stopping by. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you.

  1. Hi Jen,

  2. Dear Jennifer Rodewald,
I loved “Blue Columbine! I felt the anguish and the light. I appreciate your integrity to research. I would like to offer one correction about the line referring to religions— “Christians, Muslims or Mormons.” I have been and continue to be a missionary for the Mormon Church. The full name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sacred name of the Savior is in our name. I testify that Latter-day Saints (LDS) have always been and will always be a Christian church.
“Blue Columbine” is the first book I have read from you. The first of many, I am sure! I am delighted to find a new Christian author that I love! Thank you for your faith and your voice of praise! I am a new fan!
    Warmly,

    • Hi Rebecca! Thank you for reading and for contacting me. 🙂 Thank you also for sharing your point of view. I have made note of it. I hope you enjoy the other books as well!

  3. I look forward to your blogs and books. I love the cover for the carpenters daughter. we are all daughters of Jesus. and by putting a modern girl as the carpenters daughter, it says that Jesus is for all of us ladies today just like back then.
